Contracts, agreements and general business
Richard;
It is nice to have a contract to pay the bills. Then you may concern yourself with possible problems. It helps to know these things so you can sleep at night – if you are like me. I know some guys that do not allow anything to bother them.
It is best to ask an attorney in your area familiar with software contracts which route to take. If you were in the United States I would say incorporate to protect yourself. However, that may or may not be true in Canada.
The “best” solution is to be prepared before the fact and know your legal options and liabilities. It will not hurt to know these options so you will be better prepared in the future.
