Is there any reason why the program can't be made visible so that you can watch, for testing purposes? The original post stated that it was an .exe, so the screen can be turned on to see what happens. Start the .exe manually through Explorer, just as the Agent does to monitor. It will be blank but any message boxes that pop-up will be able to be viewed. It was also mentioned VFP was not installed, since SQL Agent agent is being used, is this .exe on a server and the runtime libraries have not been installed on the server yet?
