We had the same problem with our Zebra 140X printers.
Make sure everyone is using the correct Zebra driver. We had some people using the HP driver on the Zebra and sometimes it worked, other times not.
I think we also had to back off to using an older Zebra driver and an upgrade on the firmware.
I think if you try a few of their drivers you will get one that works.
