I did not see anything on the RAM of the client machines. I had an installation where the client was running NT machines and had the kind of slow save times you are getting on save operations, and while the processors were fast, they only had 64 megs of RAM on the workstations. When we increased the RAM the problem went away. This was multiple years ago and it's hard to imagine that little RAM on a modern machine, but I thought I should mention it.
