Our country believes in the Protestant Ethic – take care of yourself. So we expect every United States resident to take responsibility for his/her life. In order to “enjoy our lives” as Americans, we pay other nations around the word to comply with our dictates. That provides some possibility that said nations will not upset our way of life. Such a system! :)

Our moto should be: "Don't do what I do - do what I say"! Being honest is not politically correct, at least to a politician.
