I have a VFP7 .exe which does not have any visual output so I don't want the main VFP window starting up. I have done the basics and put SCREEN OFF in the config.fpw but unfortunately for me my program is started by an OCX which has its default directory/start directory as the 'Window system' directory and under some versions of windows wants to use the config.fpw in that directory instead of my startup directory and so the I get a "VFP main window flash" before I can get to it with _screen.visible=.f..
Setting SCREEN=OFF in the windows system directory config.fpw affects the startup of other VFP apps and so is impractical.
I would like to eliminate the flash and so am wondering if it is possible to set which config.fpw to use on starting my program???
