I am trying to automatically create some distribution lists in a Outlook.Application object, and then add some entries into this list.
I know that i can create a recipients object, and use the addmembers property, but what i want to achieve is to mimic exactly what happens when clicking on the "Add New..." button in the distribution lists screen. When clicking on this button, this brings up a "Add New Member" dialog, with the following fields: Display Name, EMail Address, Address Type ( defaults to Internet Address ), and a check box stating "Add to contacts". This is exactly what i want to do: to create a list of names and email addresses that belong to a distr. list without having to enter all the members in the contacts.
I've tried msdn library, and i think the name of the object i am looking for is the AddressEntry object, but it's really not clear how to add it through automation.
