I have a vb app using a SQL data source. I'm using a data environment. On a form, I have a datacombo box using a recordset in the data environment as it's source, and bound to another recordset in the data environment.

The combo box lists the choices properly, and adds the right value to the field in the main table. However, when I tab away from the combo box, it doesn't keep the value that was chosen and that is now stored in the main table.

Also, I have to drop down the combo box to make a choice. Can I set it so that I can begin to type the choice to search?
