KouaKou,
Your problem description AND replies are very brief...
... leaving for much guessing at this end.
In any case, Do the users of these computers have STRICT rules against re-booting the machines (reset button or power off/on) and ALWAYS do a proper Shutdown of Win98???
Does it occur that power is lost (even to only one) on the computer(s) running your application while it is in use?
From other messages here I see that NT and W2K Pro and XP Home support a maximum of 10 users simultaneously in peer-to-peer. I cannot find what the limit (if any) is for Win98 but I guess it is no higher.
Is there any chance to change 1 of the machines to a real file server using a server OS?
Does the machine acting as server for the data have enough RAM?...How much?
Is it also used to run other stuff too?
Is the network running at 10bps or 100?
cheers
>there are 12 workstations using tables simultaneously.
