The Common Folder. Under XP guidelines (and maybe 2000 as well, I don't remember), you are not supposed to place anything in the Windows folders.


>We am in the process of upgrading to VFP7. We use Wise install builder to install our application. Where should the runtime files be installed? With VPF6 the runtime files are copyed into the system or system32 folder, Wise install builder wants to install the VFP7 runtime files into the common folder. Most of our users use Windows 95, 98, ME, XP, some use 2000.
