Personally I choose to use ActiveX ListView as opposed to a VFP listbox or Grid as I feel it looks better. It's little more effort but worth it.
VFP listboxes are good for one or two columns of information but don't look nearly as good as an ActiveX listview, with it's aligned columns, gridlines and icons (with the assistance of an imagelist).
I find VFP grids a little limited and only use them if I want to quickly browse a result set within a form. For any form of record set that will be selected from I will use a ListView.
Then again I would rather use a VFP image class than an ActiveX equivalent... unless it could provide me with functionality that I actually needed.
