I recently installed VFP 7. I was surprised that it did not ask me to register. It may have done it automatically.

I am curious about the MSDE SQL-2000. I don't have a SQL license on this box, so I opted to install the "DeskTop Engine" that is packaged with VFP 7. I get a SQL service icon and a stop/start dialog, but I cannot see a GUI (analyzer and administrative interfaces).

What is the SQL 2K desktop engine. What can I do with it?
