Looks like it was changed.

Also the message on that page that says "If you do not have Universal Thread account, you may click on Account setup from the upper menu" refers to an "upper menu" (whatever that is) which isn't there at all, it's on another page. I guess there is some economy in creating a panel loaded with watermarks and graphics but short on those expensive ugly hyperlinks that say "Account setup" close to where the user's eyes and mouse cursor are currently pointing.

Yeah, not to mention that the pop-up window takes a lot longer than just typing in the user name/password. I'm thinking that this should be changed to something like "Sign Up". Right now, that's hiding in the Account Set-up menu. The first time you go to the site it's not at all obvious how you go about getting into the site. At the very least, I agree with out, there should be a link from the pop-up to the signup screen. Why make them close the window to sign up? There are way too many steps here.

The other thing I would change is the green text under each icon (news, links, downloads). I have reasonable eyesite (always run at 1600x1280 and would go higher if I could), but the green on green is way too hard for most people to read. It looks nice, but black text would be much easier to see.

I also dislike the way, when reading messages, the message area doesn't automatically resize when I resize the browser window. This worked before. If I resize and click on the message again, it works OK. But that's not really how I work. I'll read a message and usually adjust the window size to see more/adjust screen real estate/etc.

OK, enough complaining for today <g>
