I assumed you are saying that SDT provides a reporting capability that is more flexible than xCase?

Also --- my assumption from the web site, is that I keep on going my design work in xCase and import into SDT. But [just guessing] it seems that SDT has additional information that I add in SDT, so i'm assuming there is some sort of intelligent merge, so that if I change a field definition in xCase and I've also added info in SDT, the import takes care of this?

I'm also trying to decide on a Framework to buy but having difficulty in that. If I go ahead and get SDT now [this week], I assume I can get moving with my table design and then link the framework to SDT. The sort list for the Frameworks right now is VPM, VMP, and VPE
