I don't know for sure if that could be a reason for them. For us, it's always a question of effort and the amount of time we can put in our magazine. Except for last month, we top an average of 60 pages. That is also without advertisement. It's true the size of the font and the quantity of information in a page is different than the format of FPA, for example. But, still, if we can invest more time in the preparation, promotion, etc., we end up with a lot of content. For them, if they feel it's not valuable for them to invest as much as before, then, it might explain those reasons.
But, this entire aspect of the evolution of products, as a similar look as in the stock market. Nobody knows for sure what's next. For example, FPA VB magazine were probably not knowing that VB would have been superceeded by VB.Net and no longer supported as is. And, I haven't checked recently, but I guess they still have a lot of content in theirs.
For years, companies in Montreal, for example, were looking for VB developers as they thought it was going to last for years. Then, suddenly, VB.Net took over. And, guess what, VFP is still there. We can't say what it'll be in two years. The only think we can say is that VFP 8 is announced and will be released at some time.
IAC, this is mostly to say that various factors could be the reasons for various moves from various vendors.
