Yes, the book was very helpful in doing the conversion of my VFP 6 app to SQL Server. I still used VFP 6 for the interface, but stored the data in SQL Server 7.

The only thing you really have to change so far as the user interface issues is the amount of data you display in your forms. As a general rule of thumb, you want to limit the amount of records you display in a form. Where usually in VFP you could have a grid possibly display thousands of records, you generally want to limit this to a few hundred with SQL Server.
