Ok, I feel pretty silly. I couldn't believe I didn't know that already! I don't use grids for data entry very often--mostly just to display child records and then I typically code for a double-click on a record in the grid to open a child form for editing. Although I did use a grid for data entry over a year ago, so when I got home last night I took a look at the code in that app and sure enough, I had it correct in that app. Just goes to show what happens when you don't do some function for over a year! Also, age has a lot to do with my memory! :o)
