Thanks - this has taken a few hours but I eventually pinned it down. I coudn't see any MSDN at first so I tried to reinstall from the April 2002 CD. I've spend several hours, and have yet to complete the installation. The first part of the installation eventually completed, but when I try to start the MSDN program, it wants to do more installation - after about 20 minutes, and 1/3rd completed it hangs up. It's also fussy about which CD drive I use, in the faster drive, the hard drive goes into continuous activity, the CD does nothing, and nothing happens.

[I hardly ever use MSDN, the type of FoxPro work I;ve been doing for the last year has been boring maintenance, that never has any issues. I've been doing all more developement in another language]

However, I discovered I have an older [July 2001] copy of MSDN on one of my drives, this was on a different drive than either FoxPro 5 or 6, so when I did a Find for the APP, I had not searched this drive. I've brought that up in VFP6, and it looks like the answer I'm looking for, so I can get back to doing some paid work.
