Well I've finally braved it and made the jump to VFP 7.0, and so far I"m regretting it.

I was a good boy and even read the README file before starting the installation.

I am running Windows 2000 Service Pack 2. I selected the "Windows Component Update" section first, just as it said to. I also elected to use the "Auto Logon" option for the multiple reboots it was suppose to do. On that Auto Logon screen, it was asking for the password for my EPIC\Elgin user. That is my username on my NT DOMAIN CONTROLLER server, so I entered the password for logging into my Domain.

Now when I boot normally, it gets to "Preparing Network Connections" and just sits there. I can't even boot up in safe mode. I can see the "Log On To Windows" screen coming up in safe mode, but it's "Pre Filled" in with my Username "Elgin" (who is not a user on this machine but on the NTServer domain). The screen is disabled and I can't change to an Adminstrator logon.

How do I get my machine back? Why did VFP do this to me? ARRRHH!

Help Please.

Thank you.
