You can try backing up your class libraries and then packing them manually. That ususally frees up space, but since it is a new class library it is probably not bloated yet.

However, the project size is now 30k more. It's the same code. It's just that it is located elsewhere and formatted in a visual class. Why is this making such a big difference?
