>Well, I'd say it's been a great success so far. We're only seeing about 60% of what's going on from everything I can see. The Taliban was on the agenda from the very start as they housed bin Laden. They were given the opportunity to demonstrate on what side they stood, which they did, so we just kept our word.

I'd like to know by what criteria you judge success. You've managed to depose a regime that you put into power, but then wouldn't bow down to you - isn't that a bit like claiming to have a successful result when you present to your client a perfectly working stock control system (written in VfP of course), when what they wanted was a payroll system ?

How has the overthrowing of the Taliban done anything to lessen the terrorist threat to your country ? How has it brought anything which even approximates as justice to the people who were killed on Sept 11th in your country ?

>I think that they erred in thinking that Mr. Bush would be as weak as Mr. Clinton was. I suppose this often confuses our enemies. Candidly, while I think that about 90% of the television shows that emminate from here are pure garbage it does help confuse people like bin Laden. <g>

At the time of Sept. 11th, Afghanistan was not your enemy - all you manage to do is to confuse the entire of the world. The only confusion Bin Laden has is why you forgot about him. Your all powerful, all seeing drones & your big bombs don't seem to have done too much against him, do they ?
