1. Are you implying that if Hitler was winning the war, America would have joined Hitler's side instead?

2. Where is this evidence you speak of in the 2nd paragraph above. Does it specify the American government or individual Americans?

Also, I believe there was a period of time when not everyone in every government or country (including FRG) was completely aware of Hitler's motives and goals and saw instead the initial buildup and economic improvement of Germany in the early years.
