The ODBC driver wants to open a MS SQL database not an ODBC database even though I setup to connect to an AS/400. I actually got a "new/updated" AS/400 ODBC driver today. I am going to install that and see if it will work. I use the one that is part of Client Access as well I think. My customer just handed me a CD and said see if I can get my software to attach to the AS/400 so I really am not sure what I am using. I think it is Client Access. Can I buy Client Access from IBM? Can I distribute it with my software?
