>I am trying to convert my reports in a fairly new project from ODBC to VFP7's OLE-DB, but am unable to get them to return any data. I get a "No recordset returned" message. By process of elimination I discovered it was a problem with several left outer joins in the report.

I have experience being really frustrated by CR and Fox OLEDB working together. Does that count? I don't have definite answer, except that I see the same problem. I created a blank crystal report based on OLEDB, the Fox Provider, connecting to the Tastrade DBC. I added Customer and Orders and made a link on customer ID. No problem thus far, CR does the join using the where clause. When I change the link type to a left outer join in the visual linking window, no data is returned.

I don't know if there is a bug in the OLEDB provider, but I do know that Ken Levy has announced that there will be an updated OLEDB provider sometime soon. Maybe by the end of this month. I don't know what to suggest in the meantime.

What I've done in my situation is this. I create an ado recordset in my Fox app and pass that to my crystal report.
