>I'm initiating development of an app. The company the app is for, decided that VFP file management is not good enough, so they want to use some "good" database management system such as Oracle or SQL server. Then the app should be developed using visual Basic instead of Vfp. Can I use SQL server or Oracle to store all the data and use VFP as development tool? What are the advantages/disadvantages of such thing? How easy is it to do?

If the client as a need to move to C/S, you can still use Visual FoxPro as the front end as it is an excellent one.
