I just noticed a typo in that PRG: it referenced the wrong key in the Registry. Change the definition of ccREG_KEY near the beginning to use "6.0" rather than "5.1"; it should read:

#define ccREG_KEY 'Software\Stonefield Systems Group Inc.\SDT\6.0\Properties'

Does that fix the problem?
