It is no different from VFP native, but I'm looking for a way to allow users to create their own reports and the first effort was with Query Maker. Query Maker does not use a 'report designer' per se so there is not access to tables. I like this. The next effort was with Visual ProMatrix. It seems that a framework that provides such strict and robust security features should at least make the tables 'read-only' in the report designer. Otherwise, all of the security measures are moot, unless of course, only the system administrator is allowed to create reports.
