When I had the VFP7 but not upgraded yet I was using VFP7 for coding and VFP6 for compiling :)
IOW intellisense by itself could pay back its price.
Object browser is just another compelling reason. Support for internet, new and enhanced commands etc.
IMHO VFP7 is the most noticable version since 2.x to 3.0 change.
