I suspect there are several methods to go about this, but I'm not familar with this at all. Here's the situation: There is a SQL Server 2000 (on a T-1 connection to the Internet) running on one side of town and a VFP (6.0) application on a LAN (DSL connection to the Internet) on another side of town. The VFP application needs to access data (both read and write) in the SQL Server. What are the options, and pros/cons of each, for doing this? We can configure the SQL Server any way we need to make it possible but security is of very high importance.
