I have a VFP written data replication program. It USE all involved table exclusively for better performance and also able to minus/add stock qty without any "interruption". It should be more accurate.
Then, once user run my replication, they MUST leave the any programs which access to the database.

I faced now, by my new client want to have replication couples ime perday to get the most updated outlet sales/stock status. At the time of replication, he want the POS continue to operator. Therefore, I can't use table EXCLUSIVELY now. I try to use AGAIN SHARED, but sometime it take few seconds to "waiting to lock.." :(

I think of using buffering, but the performance is poor. Again, during the replication of each table, it may open multiple other tables to get info and etc. Do you think buffering is not a good ideas here since it will cause conflict?

Any ideas?
