Fonctions Windows API
Thanx. You have made this app. Thank you for all of your help. I hope you are a meat eater.

>>Hi George,
>>WM_CLOSE worked. And that's ok. Any ideas about why an app would choke if I used WM_DESTROY instead of WM_CLOSE. And one more thing. What made you think about using WM_CLOSE instead of WM_DESTROY.

>The only thing that comes to mind is that WM_DESTROY is unconditional. The application should terminate when it receives the message. Further, it doesn't allow any pending changes to be saved. Perhaps it has something to do with that.

>WM_CLOSE, OTOH, prompts the user to save any pending changes to the files or even cancel. I think we've all seen applications that, for whatever reasons, refuse to close, and the Windows dialog asking if you want to wait or end the task immediately. That's about all I can think of in this area.
