Hi, all..

Is it legally OK to sell a commercial app using the suffix '.NET'?

For example, we have a commercial vertical market app for business end users (let's call it 'Widget-Reporter') We are re-writing it in Visual Studio .NET.

Can we legitimately call it 'Widget-Reporter.NET'? Our president really wants to call it that (and so do I), but I thought I had read somewhere that '.NET' was a registered trademark...except that recently I've seen many utilities and products bearing the name '.NET'.

Any feedback/advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Kevin
