Although the idea is interesting, it is not a big priority for me, personally - basically, I am programming alone for now. I do recognize that this need exists, but I am quite busy, too, to do lots of programming.
A commercial product might, indeed, be the best approach.
What are your ideas about how this could be done - all in VFP code, or what?
Hilmar.

>I have a concept which is based upon SourceSafe and VFP integration. It would enable a FP programmer to "check out" and Check in" independent classes from a class library. I already have the component which extracts and inserts individual classes to and from class libraries. I have been studying an article on "Advanced Document Management" written by Russel Cambell in FoxTalk in May and June 2001. I think with techniques such as these it would be possible to create a system which would allow multiple developers to work on several classes from the same library at the same time.

I have posted a message nearly 9 months ago suggesting an open source project to solve this BIG problem with team development in VFP. This project may be better suited to commercial development.
