Good to hear that you found a solution to you problem. Once I find a solution to a strange problem like you were experiencing, I don't bother asking why or how it was fixed as long as it stays fixed.

As for the AddRelate() method, I was joining to a free VFP table (not in a DBC) that resided in a folder where there were other free tables. The only problem I encountered was the fact that I had to put a ON ERROR RETRY just before I attempted to AddRelate().

I don't know why, but, it got around a MO error and thats a good thing:)
