To allow testing an intact and fully populated classlib must be used locally by the programmer. To accomplish this and to not disturb any other localised development the class must be exported from a permanently checked out classlib and imported into a local classlib by way of replacement. Upon check in the class must be extracted and merged with a permanent checked out version of the classlib and be "checked in but keep checked out" of VSS.
