>>>after setting my main form's show window property to i cannot use simple cut and paste(ctrl+c, ctrl+v) functions in an edit box or between edit/test box areas. is there any specific reason or is there a particular setting in v.foxpro 5.0 that affects this.
>>Did you also remove Edit menu ?
>>>no, actually i haven't stated/selected anywhere that system menus are either required or not required. the form is for a simple app that needs to be standalone. all the functions it needs are on the form. i have not the app or exe as yet.
Ctrl+C,V,Z etc are controlled at Win95 level and you could use them in SDI forms unless overridden by ON KEY, keypress etc. And are you sure these functions are lost after making the form SDI ? Readonly = .f. ?
