I am having a problem removing blank lines on a form I am creating. I know I can go into the properties of the object and go to print when and check the remove line if blank box. But the problem comes when I have a form that has 2 columns worth of objects (numeric, text, character and memo) of which I want the 1st column to be able to contract and expand if certain fields are not empty. My problem comes in that the 2nd column seems to be interfearing with the 1st, not allowing things to contract properly. If I remove the 2nd column, everything works just fine.

Excerpt from help:

I do have objects in the same horizontal band and they don't collapse.

What I'm thinking is that I need a way to create 2 columns that will have independant horizontal bands. Does anyone have any suggestions to getting around this to work?

Thanks for any help in advance.
