Alan,
this code works fine for me too when I create small Excel spreadsheet.
My problem exists only if I create spreadsheet with big amount of rows and columns.
Excel exists only in the task manager (Ctrl-Alt-Delete), and all I can do at this point is to close it manually. I cannot check what it is really.
