True, but my point is what if it turns out in the next version of VS.NET that what you've had to learn wasn't a necesary part of the learning curve? With a 1.0 product, that is always a constant possibility.

Like I said, for the vast majority of developers, life is too short for such excersizes, especially considering a typical workload for a developer. For those that do like to be the pioneers, they have already begun.
