It says version 5.5 build 989. Works so far, but all we have done is build the database ( 104 tables, indices, triggers, and constraints and only a couple user defined SP's ), added some bulk test data and hooked up to a read-only grid control. We are running SQL Server 2000 and have it running on a higher end and low end server on Windows 2000 Server. I have also got it to work with Personal SQL on my laptop WIN 2K Pro.

I like Visio too. The design tools interface is slicker than xCase, but I never could get the fine points of building the scripts and I had problems establishing persistent relationships visually without having to do it 5 or 6 times until I got it right. In my case it was just too much to try and learn and use it at the same time. I chose to dance with the one who brought me.
