After trying to find everything contained in these messages pertaining to the security alert messages in an automation help file from ms support I found the following reference that basically seems to say that with the help of exchange there is a way to configure the security environment to solve the problem, but not without exchange server.
Q263297 OL2000: Administrator Information About the Outlook E-Mail Security Update
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q263/2/97.aspBut as I need to automate Outlook XP without the use of exchange I seem to have a real problem. Maybe someone out there that has followed this problem can tell me if any of the other solutions really work or if maybe it makes sense not to use outlook at all but instead to go directly to a pop3 server (how would I do this?).
All I am trying to do is to send e-mail messages out of a vfp application on a system running VFP 7.0, Windows XP or Win2000 and Office XP. Recipient, e-mail address, subject and message are extracted from VFP files and whether I create messages to go into Outlook XP or log onto a pop3 server doesn't really matter.
