I would really find it amazing that *nothing* was changed at all, and this just started happening. Are you sure there was no other program installed? A virus scanner on the server maybe? Printer drivers updated? Are they sharing a temp directory on the server - maybe there is a space problem? Is this a point in time when they run very large print jobs - end-of-year, etc?
