IMO personal attacks shouldn't be allowed anyway, people come here to voice opinions, not everyone's opinion is the same, so there will be conflict.
I must admit whenever I read opinions that, if were true, could effect me, my initial reaction is to go on the defensive, so I normally take a step back and say - "Well, that's his/hers opinion, if it comes true, then I'll worry. But for the time being, this is speculation on their half".
