It is a value judgment I am making for myself. I have the right to choose whether I consider myself an expert or not.

What I said is that there is a level of knowledge that beyond which, is expert level. If there are people that know a lot more than me, it is more likely than not, that I am not an expert. If there are people at the highest levels of knowledge that know a little more than I do, then it is quite possible that I am an expert.
