I tab into a combobox and type in a new value that is not in my drop-down list, but when I tab out of the box, my variable is still empty. I am doing an APPEND BLANK w/ Optimistic buffering. I am apparently missing something abt how this control works. Would appreciate if anyone could enlighten me.
