Not the 'copy file' command, just the 'copy'. See my previous post. Using the 'with cdx' clause in a copy file statement does not produce an error, but there is no cdx copied. If the cdx files are there in the directory already (say from your previous code), then opening the table will use the existing cdx, but without issuing the proper copy command 'with cdx', it won't necessarily be the cdx you really want.

When you then reindex, yes, everything will be ok.
