You should look at using Merge Modules with Wise.
A merge module is a special kind of Windows Installer database that contains the components needed to install a discrete software bundle including VFP7.
These Merge modules are from Microsoft but I could never find them on their site.

There is a set for VFP7 located at
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Merge Modules\VFP7*.MSM
I think VFP70 installed these files. Wise Tech Support was not aware of VFP7s only the VFP6 that it gets from MS.

When you have your wise project open, go to the Wise Installation Expert tab go to FEATURE DETAILS, MERGE MODULES then click ADD on the right side. By default only the Merge Modules supplied by Wise are shown ( Which includes VFP6 ). Click the DIRECTORY button and ADD the directory above. The VFP7 Merge Modules will now appear in the list.

To check out what is delivered in the Merge Module you can open it using Wise. WARNING from Wise Tech Support. When opening a Merge Module Wise sometimes ask you to FIX it? DON'T. Just say no.

Basically the VFP7 module has the DLLs included in it and also the Registry stuff for HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT already defined. Cool stuff. Other Merge Modules of interest:

>I have taken over an application that uses Wise install builder to install the runtime files. I know which files are required for VFP7 to run but the installer is installing some other file which I am unsure what they are for and if they need to installed on the system. The files are -
