Microsoft has a self-extracting executable on its web site that you can download and distribute with your application. All you have to do is make sure that the executable is run. It handles all the details, including the registration of all the WSH objects, of which the Scripting.FileSystemObject is one. Without proper registration, you can't instantiate the object.
