I did try that but apparently the Group Header can't span pages either. That technique prints thousands of copies of page 1 but never gets to the remainder of the letter OR the Detail band. At least with the letter in the Title band I get the CCs -- they are useless without the remainder of the letter but they print <g>.

It appears that the Detail band is the only band that can span pages. I suppose that's documented somewhere but I don't remember it. Most of these reports are unmodified since the early 90s so if I knew about that limitation, I've forgotten it. I suspect I'll remember it now though.

I'm working on a process to create a fake breakpoint for a primary grouping in the detail band to hold the letter fields and allow the CCs to print as a second or nested grouping. In theory, it should work... I'll let you know.
