Hi Rick,

I have had some problems with Modal forms loosing their modality with XP Pro. I have been wearing black, singing dirges, and printing last Will and testament forms and yet they do not consider their "Modality"

>I think Chris's experience is the exception rather than the rule. I've been developing almost daily with both VFP 6.0 SP5 and VFP 7.0 on XP Pro since last October and haven't had any problems (at least that I didn't cause < g >). In fact because of my good experience, the other 10 programmers in our development staff will shortly be migrating from NT 4.0 SP6a to XP Pro! Note: Mine was a complete install, and not an "upgrade" - some have reported problems with upgraded systems.
